“Walk Softly” is a letter that I wrote to myself. It’s a prayer, a reminder to walk more mindfully through this life, more gently, and with more patience and more awareness.
I hope it serves to soothe, to bring comfort and solace in tumultuous times, to heal frayed nerves, and to inspire more compassion towards self and others.

lyrics
Please walk softly upon this earth
Take your time, that’s what it’s worth
There’s a reason something put you here
You still have a lot more left to live
More to be and so much more to give
Please don’t let it waste away in fear
Get back up, don’t shed another tear
Please be gentle please be kind
You can’t read anybody’s mind
You don’t know what they’re going through
So don’t be quick to your defense
We all hide behind pretense
And It’s got nothing to do with you
So please don’t worry, please don’t fret
Re-write your story, it’s not over yet
Turn the page, ‘cause it begins right now
Who knows where it will go, or why, or how
Don’t give up, don’t despair
I know it seems like it’s unfair
But your soul is strong and bright
Feed your faith, starve your doubt
Believe that it will all work out
You never know -- it just might
And everything is already all right
Everything is already all right
Please walk softly upon this earth
